Healing Generations Workshop
Transgenerational Trauma is a concept that has been increasingly explored over the past decade. It refers to the transmission of physiological distress, psychological frameworks, and behavioral patterns across generations. This phenomenon involves the influence of ancestral experiences, which can persist long after the original trauma has occurred, affecting descendants and their lineage. Studying transgenerational trauma helps reveal and understand the ongoing impacts of unresolved historical trauma.
The aim of this workshop is to explore how to address transgenerational trauma using a trauma informed perspective. We will focus on utilizing modalities such as Attachment-Based EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Ego State Therapy, and others to effectively navigate and heal these deep seated issues.
